These numbers don't mean a lot when you consider how much MS shoves Bing down our throats. On their MSNBC site - Bing everywhere. On my XBox 360 - a huge Bing screen! I'm sure it must be the default search in IE also.

@serile
Doesn't Google push their search engine down our throats? Android: Default search is Google. Chrome: Default search is Google. It's not like Google is any different. Maybe you should think about not being a hypocrite.

MS does shove Bing down our throats as much as they can. We have the option of changing the option to Google or which ever search engine we so desire. I have been using Bing and Google and prefer Google better.

OK, so we have... what three major search engines now, and Bing is just now trying to make number two? Should we be proud of them? Good job MS. You provide Yahoo search results on top of your own, and still can't make number two.
"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'" -- Isaac Asimov

on opera's last update i found that bing disappeared (it was my main search engine) and google replaced it, i didn't care about returning it and just used yahoo, maybe i think i'll get it back now

"A year ago, it lost $558 million for the quarter." why did MS loose all that money, it it for hosting, i know MS has lots of other sites to host, is it for programming, it isn't like MS hires all tose programmers on bing

who knows
