Hey there.
Having just bought a computer for Christmas I was wondering whether or not these specs would run MW3 well:
Intel Core i5-2320
- 3.0Ghz
- Quad core

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
RAM 4GB, DDR3
Graphics card Nvidia GT555M
Screen resolution 1920 x 1080

Thanks for the help in advance :D

Well, a lot of that depends on which version of the 555M you have. Basically, you can expect to run MW3 somewhere between medium and high quality @ 1080P. Don't bother with AA unless you find the game really needs it. Understand that you might have to reduce the visual quality slightly though.

AA is antialiasing. It is used to smooth out rough edges in games. The easy way to tell is by the amount of VRAM. There are two versions of that card, one with either 1.5 or 3GB of ram, and the othe has either 1 or 2GB of ram. The card running 1.5 or 3GB has a wider memory bus and thus has much better performance in higher resolutions.

Hey wj, Thanks for that. I think I am going to see if I can allocate more ram to the graphics as I have plenty in that lappy I bought.

OK, then you are not going to be able to run with AA at all, the 1GB card has a 128bit wide memory bus, and too little memory to run @ 1080P with AA. The card also lacks the added power to take on all the extra details, so expect to run in medium quality for smooth gameplay.
