Now there's a funny coincidence! I was just taking a break from writing my Rainmeter review to read this roundup.

So, no Rainmeter because no in-depth Rainmeter review in 2011. Maybe it will make the list on 2012!

For me, paint.net is a nice little gem. Also, I use nitro PDF reader because the interface works well (better than Foxit's), and it starts quickly and unlike acrobat isn't constantly targeted, so I'm more secure that way. I've been using Any Video Converter, but might check out Freemake.
