How To Make Yahoo! Email My Ie 9 Default?

I do not always have Outlook up when using the PC (actually, I use the Yahoo email web client almost exclusively now), yet it is set as my default mail server in IE 9. I do believe that in previous versions of IE, I didn't have this problem, but when I click on an email address, such as in Craigslist, I have to wait for Outlook to start and enter passwords for the servers before I can send an email.

Does anyone know of a way to set Yahoo! email as my defaut?

Thanks!

I think you can do it with the yahoo toolbar (toolbars are otherwise useless and a waste of resources though). By the way, in firefox, you can set mailto to gmail or yahoo mail.

Try Affixa. It becomes your Windows mail client, and redirects everything to your web-based email service. I use it with Gmail, and it claims to work with Yahoo and others.
