"After three hours of playing games, browsing the web, and downloading apps over LTE, the Rezound was down from a full charge to only 30 percent battery remaining" - sorry, but 3 hours of doing all of those that is alot, even if only doing one of them at a time. i am more than slightly confused as to how this is a 'price' for all the power the phone has. if you were to drive a race car you'd see a comparable difference in both power and economy, here the power/economy ratio is more like the power of a camaro with the economy of a carolla.

Totally agree. If you want more battery life, get a less capable smartphone ... or a heftier battery. I'll take the battery trade-off for the Rezound's amazing camera and other super-capable specs. ICS will come soon enough, as well. Probably Q1 2012.

Sooooo...why can't 4.3" fit in your pocket? I had the HTC Thunderbolt and it has the same size screen.Very thin profile for its size and a bit heavy which I liked. Funny it fit in my shirt pocke just fine. as long as I didnt bend over I didnt have to worry about it falling out. Fits in a hip pocket too. Unless you have some really cheap pants with very thin or tight pockets. The screen measures 4.3" diagonally. The phone is still about 4" in size. It will fit in any normal sized pocket.

So either you didn't really check out the phone, or typically the Android hate is clearly shown in your article. You get the first fact wrong. Even with small hands the phone is comfortable. For the cost of iPhone, on contract you have a BIGGER phone, better headphones, better sound and more.

Some people have smaller pockets (it fit in mine just fine, but I had to mention that).

...er what? I don't hate Android in the slightest. The Rezound is a great phone, hence why I gave it such a high rating.

It was pretty clear that you did NOT say that it won't fit an a pocket, despite the comment that you were replying to:

While it may not fit in everyone’s pocket, <snip>

I'm one of those people for whom a 4.3" display is simply too large. It's not that it won't fit, but it won't fit comfortably with my wallet and/or keys in the same pocket. That's why I've stayed with a 4' display smartphone, with no intention of going to a larger display, unless they can also make it very thin and edge-to-edge.
2.93GHz i7 w/12 gigs, 27" IPS @2560x1440 and 23 IPS @1920x1080 fed by an ATI HD 5750

Fun fact, I actually like to keep my smartphone in its own pocket. Keys would scratch up the screen and I'm afraid of pulling out my wallet and having my phone fall out with it.

Lol, I find it humorous that you rank your phone above your wallet. One would think you'd be more afraid of pulling out your phone and having your wallet fall out with it. Just semantics, but I enjoyed your post, thanks!

So I've seen the comments referring to the fact that it doesn't have a very long battery life...well...buy a battery expansion?? They're not that expensive, but they do add a bit of bulk to the phone. IMO...not that big of a deal. When I got this phone, I immediately realized how amazing a battery expansion would be. I found both of them for a great price at: http://everythingbea...1&x=HTC_Rezound

Has anyone had problems not hearing your rezound phone ring, when the sound is to the max, I have tried everything, even tried using the notification call volume, and still had a hard time hearing it ring. Is it just me or the phone, I've had other phones ,that I could hear when I was in the other room, but not this one. and I have the pocket volume checked as well. And when is the ice cream going to hit the rezound. Thanks

There is also an option for "Quiet Ring on Pickup". I un-checked this option and it helped.
Menu > Settings > Sound > "Quiet ring on pickup"

is this phone global-compatable? as in, can it be unlocked and/or run on GSM, instead of Verizon's CDMA?
