Hello everyone.
I have a sony laptop, which has a webcam builtin . I was wondering how can i use the cam to record any activity infront of it...or in other words record who ever is using the laptop without any thing showing up on the screen (or even minimized) sort of a security cam. Please point me to some software that i could use.

Am using Windows vista.

I know of one program that can do this: Webcam Surveyor. It costs $30 after a30-day trial period. You'll have to make sure you put it in stealth mode.

But I have serious reservations both with this program andthe whole idea. For one thing, a program that's constantly recording video andsaving it to the hard drive can't help but have a negative effect onperformance. For another, if someone even begins to suspect what you're doing,he or she can simply put something over the webcam lens.
