lots of talk about megapixels but nothing about the actual sensor :/ I guess people enjoy huge grainy pictures...

Looks like windows phones are still reeling with a dual core chip shortage.

That's a complete lie.

Ignorant Trolls, Its not always about the Megapixals and dual core. My Samsung Focus is lighting fast and has a great 5mp camera in it (Takes great pictures) and the Xbox Live games that run on my XBOX 360 look amazing on my phone which in fact is a first genration phone. Most phones don't have dual cores yet and most phone today can play a majority of android apps. This phone with the Lumia 900 from nokia look awesome and i look forward to what the Apollo Phones and WP8 bring to the table. Sorry WP7 Haters back to the hole you live in and await for the next WP7 Posts to troll

You were impressed with how clear and sharp the photos looked on your display... well great, even crappy HTC camera photos look fine on a small display. 16MP is ocmpletrly pointless in a phone due to the sensor size being too small to support it. It is a marketing plioy... nothing more, nothing less.

It's not pointless if the camera lens is good, my 8 mp camera on my phone has a great lens, and the pictures are fantastic.

Can't support 1080p because it has a single core processor? Too bad it doesn't have a dual-core.

16Megapixel...LOL. So it means i can throw away my Olynpus XZ-1 with "only" 10 Megapixel.....NOT.
In this day and age, people are more educated, can't fool people with higher Megapixel if the sensor size doesn't increase...what's the point...it means only huge grainy photo which sucks more storage unneccessarily because it's no better than the 8Megapixel photo.

But does it actually work as a phone. I'm on my second Titan and as a phone you can actually use to talk with, it sucks. I just ordered a Lumia 900 on Amazon.

Yes, quality of the lens and sensor is more important than megapixels, but the images produced by this thing at 16mp are damn impressive. And I would imagine that if you set it at 8mp (not sure how it works at lower res but assuming it works like the Nokia pureview) the images would rival some decent compacts.

Sure, it is a myth that more MPs always makes a better camera, but the opposite myth that more MPs in a phone always makes worse pictures is also becoming rather popular.
