Why not just charge them with Microwave or other energy wavelengths that are already buzzing around our heads and passing through our bodies 24/7. The air around us is filled with energy from radio and cell towers.

I can imagine the large magnetic fields this technology could produce. Bye, bye to your credit card memory strip.

Not really a problem, as there's dozens of technologies already available to replace the archaic magnetic memory strip.

Balboa Park in San Diego, CA (Qualcomm's Headquarters) was suggested as a pilot project for small electric autonomous vehicles using inductive charging as part of the Centennial Celebration of the 1915 Exposition that built Balboa Park and initiated the Region's growth. Daimler is deploying a fleet of electric smart4two's in San Diego. They will be installing their own inductive charging technology in a demonstration home being built in Germany.
