From the article, "...SOPA author Sen. Lamar Smith (R-Tx) has himself been found guilty of violating copyright. ...it points out the realities of SOPA that almost any domain on the internet, even Smith’s own, could be taken down for good should it be found in violation of copyright. Hypocrisy in Congress is nothing new, but this is a particularly relevant example that deserves attention."

If SOPA/PIPA is passed, there will be a mass online revolt the likes even Anonymous has never dreamed of.
Politicians: Don't forget, EVERYTHING these days is online or controlled by networked computers. Do you really want cyber activists pissed at you to the point they are ready willing and able to target you directly and expose ALL your dirty little secrets?

Well put. Not only are these crooks in DC most likely guilty but many of the corporations that push these pieces of garbage legislation are also guilty but just as with Goldman Sachs screwing over of the public they all get away with their crimes because there are corporate giants and own a few politicians in DC. Just one example would be the large toy companies (IU won’t say who for fear of legal attacks) that produce LEGO knock offs, building blocks designed to look like and work with real LEGO building blocks, and do it so they don’t have to pay any royalty to LEGO the original creator of that unique building block design.
The large Fortune 500 like corporations that push for OSPA and PIPA are more likely to be guilty of infringement then us the average user but that’s OK because they are wealthy and powerful and so they can break the law but not you the average citizen; you must be penalized.
