Recently I installed a virtual machine software.
I put XP on the virtual machine and then I uninstalled the wine software.iTunes never worked properly on wine and it won't come out no matter what.Is there a way to get rid of the software or at least hide it?
I am running Ubuntu 10.10.
Thanks,
Alexander

Sure. Just go into the software store, and use the Uninstall option to get rid of wine (if you don't want it anymore). All of the software goes into a file system under the .wine directory in your home directory. If you don't want it anymore, you can just do an rm -rf /home/yourusername/.wine and that will get rid of anything you messed around with in wine.

I don't believe I tunes will run in Wine as of yet. I have had some luck with programs and others that just won't run. Wine can be frustrating. You have to manually edit the registry or uninstall all the software to clear the registry, and then reinstall what works. I was able to install Glary registry editor, and it worked.
