I've been using this website for a long time and now I can't open it. I've tried using all my browsers but it says something about firewall or security blocking the connection. I've disable my firewall but it still doesn't work and I also uninstalled the Malware anti-virus I had because that was what informed me at first. I've also added the site to trusted sites, cleared my cookies and cache but nothing. The site works on my brother's computer but not mine.

Are you talking about PCW? Anyway, try going at it "sideways"... Google PCW and click the various links that show up. You may be able to navigate to where you want to go that way.

Also, your bookmark may have become corrupted (unlikely since you tried multiple browsers, but still), try and refresh it.

Why are you are posting as a new user?

Well, then it's probably being blocked at the router level. You'll need to access your router and check what kind of security options it has.

Another thing - click start, type notepad, right-click it and run as admin, and open:
%systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
There shouldn't be anything in it, except maybe 127.0.0.1 localhost. If something is preceded by #, it's a comment and is ignored by the OS.

Welcome to the forums LoveEmeter.
A couple of questions:
Is this particular site a secure site (prefixed with https) ?
What is the exact error message, word for word?

I used Firefox at first, then the Malware Antivirus poped up with a notification, "successfully blocked access to a potentially malicious website‎..." it puts the host of the website which i can't remember then I uninstalled Malware then tried using Internet Explorer which said, "security or firewall settings might be blocking the connection." I turned of my firewall but still the site won't open. I know there's nothing wrong with the website because it opens on my brother's laptop and it used to work on mine until now and I haven't installed anything, it just happened. The website is 'dramacrazy.net'. Thanks so much. And, no it's not prefixed with https.

Do you have a router? If so, access it and check it's security features.

I'll bet your brother is not running Malwarebytes pro. I have found this program to be a bit overzealous and had to uninstall it because of this. Dramacrazy.net may share an IP or an IP range with some other site that is hosting questionable code, and that would be enough for Malwarebytes to block all sites within the range. If you uninstall this program you'll find that you will once again be able to access this site. There are other alternatives for website filtering. A better choice is OpenDNS.

For antivirus, download and install Microsoft Security Essentials. There's nothing better, and it's free.
