So im not sure if this is the right place for this thread I havent been on gamepro in forever (looks like it really went to [censored] lol) but i bought a new 360 and i gave my old one to my brother and i want to buy some full 360 games via xbox live and i was wondering seeing as i have my gamertag account on both 360s can i simply go to download history under account and redownload my games so they are on both consoles like i can do with DLC and if so are the full 360 games you download playable by all profiles on your console or do they screw you over like they do with arcade games
thanks

I've never really downloaded any full games or tried to replay my arcade games on another account on the same xbox, but I would assume that they would be linked to that account that downloaded them in the first place. Think of it like a desktop. When you download something on a specific user account, it is put in that user's "My Documents" folder only accessible from that account. I would assume that it is the same with the full games as with the arcade games. Let me know what you find though. I agree it's stupid, but may be the way that the user accounts are set up to prevent tampering with settings, saved games, etc.

As long as you are signed in to your XBL account you can download them again for free and play them on both consoles. However if you want to play the games under a different account or without being signed in to XBL on your new Xbox you'll have to transfer the licenses to the new console. You can do that on Xbox.com.
