This is a dream come true, but for casual and occasional home printing over an iPad really isn't worth $150 and another device on my shelf. Eh I'll just wait until Walmart has a sale...

It's hard to imagine that anyone with an ios device won't also have a computer. Google Chrome offers a FREE software way to share any old printer online and allows printing to it from any Android or ios device (limited to printing from emails, but 3rd party apps allow for printing anything off the device). The idea of buying an expensive piece of hardware to enable the same thing is kind of silly it seems.

It's also worth noting that many (all?) Epson Wifi-enabled printers can work with the free 'Epson iPrint' app on iPhone and iPad.
It doesn't have the in-app printing capabilities of Apple's AirPrint, but it does give you access to local storage as well Cloud services (like Dropbox, Google Docs and Evernote) and web page printing.
