ok i did all the steps and all, but when i go to try to install cydia in absinthe, i see the site load but doesn't bring up the link for me to install cydia, just leaves me at a blanck white screen, even i keep reloading it and i see nothing

On most blogs there have been issues with the JB'ing. The issue is mostly due to so many accessing the servers for the jailbreak. I'll wait until the demand dies down.

I've been on "Waiting for reboot for over 10 minutes" on my iPad 2 on 5.0.1...he briefly mentions this on the video and said he restarted. What do I do?

For those of you who are having problems and are getting a white screen, its because the server is over loaded because everyone is trying to download it. Once you get the Absinthe logo on your home screen your just about jailbroken, for those who continue to get the white screen thats because servers are full this is a fix that was recommended by pod2g. Go to your setting and then click VPN it will say connection error but then ur phone will reboot and cydia will appear where absinthe was. It took me a few trys i had to continue to click vpn and it finally worked. click it wait 2 min and try again

You should of waited for the pod2g and Dev-Team's release

This was there release, its just that the server is overloaded so for those having issues once absinthe is installed on your device go to setting and click vpn it may take a couple tries but it does work, there is no other release coming out this is the one from pod2g in mac format the other will be for windows which i don't believe has come out yet!

after you install and finish go to settings, general,network,VPN and turn it on for it to install Cydia

I went into general, network, and then turned on VPN (i noticed there's a selection for "Jailbreak"). It opens up a tab that says "Starting", but then gives me an error message a couple of seconds later "VPN Connection - A configuration error occurred"

Any ideas?

I can't even open Absinthe. It says it quit unexpectedly. I tried deleting and re-downloading, I also tried restarting my computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

delete the app and start all over

If you go to iCU's tutorial, there SHOULD be an error like that. You should have kept your device connected and pressed cancel. The device will crash and then Absinthe will say that you finished installing the jailbreak.

Do we have to use Mac in order to jailbreak or we can use WINDOWS to jailbreak?
