Google just made it possible to download all the songs in your library.

Use the Google Music app and stream all the music from your phone, or download what you want to your phone for later listening. I have unlimited data, so I use this via Bluetooth in the car. It is a whole lot of awesome.

will be better if i can download certain album or artist since hard drive corruption only kills a few files and I don't want to waste time download all files including the good ones...

You can. You just have to use their web interface. https://play.google.com/music/
