My boss' computer recently contracted a rootkit virus. I downloaded TDSS killer and it wouldn't even run. In fact, nothing I could do fixed the virus. I had to reformat the hard drive and reinstall Windows and all of his software.

The problem with TDSS killer is that its popular and that means it gets blocked pretty easy.

you need a tool that people dont really know about like Trojan Remover, which also removes root kits. thats made by simply super software.
