Xp Activation After 2014 ?

We all know XP support ends april 8 2014, so no more windoze updates.

But after said date if I need to install XP will I still be able to activate it?

I think so. That date only means the end of support.

I Think The Same Principle About OEM And RETAIL Versions Applies To XP.

Yeah, I think it does for everything after Win 98. Not sure about Millenium though as I never used it.

Shouldn't be a problem. To the best of my knowledge, MS still allows of downgrades going at least as far back as Win 95; and, a downgrade is useless if it can't be activated.

I checked with Microsoft. Here's their official statement: "The end of Windows XP support will not affect activation, but rather security updates and phone/online technical support."
