Does anyone know how to setup a wireless network in my home using only a laptop pc? I don't have a desktop pc and don't want to get one. I have a laptop and a cable modem but need some help and instruction on how to do this. Thanks in advance for any and all help with this problem.

You should connect it to the router with an ethernet card, and then go to the router's IP, usually 192.168.1.1, to configure things.

You can open your browser. then input 192.168.1.1, then set your password in it. More detail you can have a look at the instruction of the router.
