Right now, I store my files in Windows Live Skydrive when working on them at school, since I can open them in word directly from there. However, when working on my home computers, I prefer to keep them in a local folder that's sync'd with Windows Live Sync. However, I can access windows live sync space online and download the documents, but I cannot edit them in that part. Meanwhile, dropbox lets me sync stuff from a local folder and upload and download it from the website, but I can't directly edit stuff there unless I install the dropbox client (fine at home, but not at school). So, does anyone have any ideas on what would work well here? Thanks.

Well, at school you should think about school and not what you do at home. I use free Dropbox and it's OK with me, but I haven't had the need to sync yet. My, I should have a look at it, some changes have been made.
