Magellan Maestro 4040 Bricked Please Help!

Ok, So I was using my magellan 4040 when I noticed something wierd with the volume, Went to go turn it up and it crashed on me, Now it wont go past the loading screen please help! I posted it here because Im assuming that all I need to do is replace the files that are obviously messed up im not sure plaese someone help me with this.

Thes are just general troubleshooting tips;

1. Is it under warranty? Get Magellan to fix it.

2. If not under warranty, AND you want to try and fix it yourself...then open it up and see what can be re-seated, do so, put it back together, and see if it works now.

3. The GPS may need an update... turn it on and connect it to your PC. If your PC detects the device, then see if you can go to the Magellan website and update it.
