No. No it doesn't.

Motorola isn't prohibiting Apple from licensing the patent, they are saying Apple never licensed the patent (or paid licensing fees) in the first place. Apple and Microsoft seem to believe that everyone else has to pay patent fees except them. In Microsoft's case even those who don't actually infringe on any of their patents.

So, Apple sues for patent infringement, but they don't want to BE sued. Sounds like little-kid mentality to me...

Isn't it Apple the one who started this fight with Motorola not long ago? What it is Apple crying about now? I believe Apple practices double standards quite too often. I say they are starting to find an unwelcome taste in their own medicine.

Doesn't it make sense for Motorola to file court complaints in its home territory of Illinois. Apple should not get to choose where litigation is filed because it is not convenient. This should get thrown out of the California court as frivolous.
