It won't matter what the picture quality is so so and the price was 3x that of all the other TVs out there, if it has the Apple logo on it all the Fanboys will just buy it. They are just sheep blindly following their iShepard. I bet if you put the Apple Logo on a rock I could sell it for $100 and make millions.

You are moron. Why don't you actually look at the definition of a fanboy for one you ignorant dumbass. The over whelming majority of people who buy apple products buy them because it is what they prefer over other products, it fits their needs or they are easier to use for them. These people do not care who the head of apple is, what the stock price is of apple, or even what litigation is going on against other phone makers. The majority of people that buy apple products, especially iPhones buy them because it works for them and their lifestyle. Read statistics and facts before you make your self look like an ignorant fool.

"The over whelming majority of people who buy apple products buy them because it is what they prefer over other products"
And yet the poster (like other fanbois) is unable to offer any evidence whatsoever, that this is really the case.
And due to the fact that he is only expressing a popular opinion, of course he can't!
I would not normally comment on a post from one who uses personal insults - but on this occasion, I need to show how the kettle is calling the pot black!
To disagree without being disagreeable is the art of debate. Simply because one has a strong opinion, it does not necessarily make an alternative opinion less valid.

Typical Fanboy (sorry iFanboy) response – has to resort to calling names and being the ass that they are. The facts are that most (not all) people by an Apple because they think it is cool, it is a status symbol – and there are plenty of facts out there to prove that to. Ya Apple does make a good product that makes simple processes simple for people. And it would not even matter if I showed you all the facts right in front of your face because most iFanboys will just ignore the facts.

And it just cracks me up how upset iFanboys will get over people comments because no ones option is correct if it speaks against the godly Apple products, lol.

Apple TV? SMH. Samsung was right on point here, but not in the position to do so. Samsung has enough problems already regarding their TVs. They need to stop worrying about Apple for now. As for Apple making TVs, they need to stop right there and focus. Where will they get the parts from? I know LG makes their displays but i doubt they will sell them any more parts. Unless they expect to deter sales from Samsung, LG's direct competition, I dont see Apple getting parts, even at a premium. Apple should focus on a good smart TV platform such as Google TV. The LG Google Smart TV for instance. Samsung released all these new funky gadget features @ CES but failed to deliver a great Smart TV. LG on the other hand hooked up and revamped their old system with the new android and pimped out their Smart platform threefold. Apple needs to get in the smart game first, then focus on TVs.

You're absolutely correct. Apple needs to chase/compete with Google, not Samsung, LG , and other TV manufacturers. I also agree with you on LG having the best Smart TVs from what was shown at CES however I have to disagree with you about Samsung's Smart TVs. Sure they are adding an "ecosystem" approach to their smart products but this may seem more in sync with the future then one may think. I also like LG's partnership with Google with the smart platform, that was a brilliant idea. The new interface was quite stunning on LG's Smart TV.
