So lets get this straight...
2.5"-5" = smartphone
5"-7" = phablet
7"+ = tablet
Am I getting this right?

Criticism of the Dell Streak 5 at the time was significant, from the point of view that there are far too many tech pundits who can't see five minutes into the "future" to see that a 5" device is the "just right" size for a phone that serves as much more than a thing you hold to your ear. In the future, I bet the 5" form factor becomes far more popular as users realize that 5" is not too big for a pocket and not to small to interact with properly.

I've been using my Dell Streak 5 - with a Plantronics M12 earpiece/mic for over a year.
Nobody has commented - except favourably - about the device and several friends with iPhones have wished they had the DS 5.

Oh dear, how embarrassing... all those tech pundits who slagged off the Dell Streak for being "clunky" have to do a 360 degree turnaround with the Samsung Galaxy Note - only thing holding the DS back was lack of commitment by Dell. Had to install latest Android from XDA to make it sing.

I've been using my supposedly "Clunky" Dell Streak for 13 Months now. It gets ooh's and ahh's from everyone who sees me using it. Never once has anyone laughed at me when I had it up to my head to use as a phone, as all the tech writers said people would. Dell marketing and AT&T were the fail, not the device or the concept.
