I don't see why they deserve to know what I've been up to in the first place. I block online trackers for this very reason.

true... i dont totally agree on this. coz doing this, as an IT admin, our network will be prone to hackers and illegal attacks. this is terrible.

While I opt out of third party cookies; reality is that without advertisers the internet will not remain free of charge.

And without first party cookies, a lot of things that users have come to take for granted will not work; and, marketers will be unable to track the results of their campaigns, thus making them less efficient, and ultimately driving up the cost of the goods and services being sold online.

And of course there are the 6 tracking cookies that PC World tried to deposit on my PC when I read this article. I wonder if reading this article could adversely affect me? Oh NO !

Do you understand that not all cookies are "tracking" cookies?

What are the names of the 6 pcworld.com cookies that you so label?
