Finally some sense. Everyone under 35 knows Facebook is dead. Only middle aged women playing Farmville and creating accounts for their dogs are keeping it afloat......and who has influence in journalism and financial markets? Yes that's right, people over 35 who think Facebook is somewhat new and novel. If the younger peoples voice could be heard past all the established journalists we would see a massively negative view to FB. Go on. Go interview 100 x 25 years olds and then consider your position on buying in this overvalued piece of trash of a website.

Remember when MySpace was all the rage? Then Facebook came along and now MySpace is all but dead. Same thing will happen to Facebook. People are fickle and get bored easily. How long it will take for users to tire of Facebook is anyone's guess, but it will happen (none too soon if you ask me).

So I guess Facebook is the new MySpace, and Twitter is the new Facebook? I agree with you people are very fickle and have microscopic attention spans these days...always looking for the next fad/trend to come along.

Well everyone I know from 18 - 24 (aka university level) uses Facebook like everyday. We use it to perform instant messaging, organise project discussions, and share links to Google Docs. We use it like Twitter, uploading pictures of food, posting memes like 9gag.

Facebook is dead? For the older generation i believe. I'm sure I'll be joining the ranks of you guys once we get old enough not to laugh at memes and socialise the hell out. But there's always gonna be a younger generation around.
