Could someone please help me to make a dvd picture slideshow

:(I have tried 3 different programs to make a slideshow with my digital pictures I have not bought one yet I've ben using the free trials to see which I like better. Everytime I try to burn them they will not burn and there is a problem? I don't understand do I need something eles for my computer to make these programs work? Ive tried "Wondershare Dvd Slideshow, Dvd photo slideshow", and another I don't remember. Has anyone ever used these programs I need help. Thanks
