It matters not that Siri doesn't seem to work for many- the iCult will just blame the detractors for speaking the wrong way.

Wireless charging seems to generate a lot of waste heat. The power loss of transfer, does it really outweigh the convenience of not having to plug in a physical wire?

Induction kitchenware like frying pans or kettles is safer, but i dun really see the benefits of induction charging a phone. Unless you like to put your phone to charge near water, you are just as likely to drop it into the water than get electrocuted.

Wireless charging is amazing because you don't have to use a connector -- a device that will break after a certain amount of uses, and when it does, you can't use the phone anymore. There's something to be said about placing my phone on its charging pad for the night, it turns on wireless file sharing and syncs any data it needs to wirelessly to my computer.
