Well, it will be easy to find.

Wire a ton of LEDs to the 12V line and it'll really stand out! :D I've thought about doing that a little to my own PC, but haven't bothered. (I have some female molex connectors sitting around from other things that I could use.)

Doesn't this mean you'll need to paint the entire case red if you put an ati graphics card in it then? :D

I'm probably going to have this running just during the day when the sun is out (remember, solar panels) to attract birds (I already have a big container slowly dripping into the bird bath to prevent the water from becoming stagnant, preventing mosquitos from being attracted to it). I hate how radioshack has such a big markup on some things - it's probably cheaper for me to buy something from dollar tree that has solar panels and then rip the solar panels out of it than buy solar panels from radioshack!

On a side note, how do you get fish to live long? I've only managed to get fish to live for 3 weeks at best, yet had a guinea pig that lived to over 5 years and have a rat that's 2 years old right now and still doing well (I had 2 from the same litter, but one died at around 1.5 years.).

I doubt I will bother with ATI video in there any time soon. The only two boards I have any intensions of running rock Nvidia graphics, and Nvidia chipsets. SO - it should prove to be an excellent color choice for the next couple years. The Gigabyte board will even allow me to rock AM3+ CPU's should I get the desire. When the 8800GT isn't enough, then likely it will be time to retire the 550Ti to it :D

For what it is worth, there are some very big differences in solar panels - what they are capable of, how long they will last, etc.

Fish need clean water - constantly clean water. Some fish can live without, but that isn't the norm. That said, you don't want to change water too often either. You have to maintain a PH balance that works for them, keep bacteria down, and try to keep the water consistent. Some fish also need undercurrents. Some need additional lighting. The needs vary by the type of fish. With Salt water tanks, you actually have to prep the tank a solid week - or two before you even bother getting a fish in it.

Hmm... my neighbor has a 10 year old fish, no filters or pumps I think, and it's still alive. I think I cleaned the tank often enough, though I didn't have filters or pumps on it. I guess rodents (and probably dogs and cats) are a whole lot less sensitive to the environment than fish.

I don't know. An awful lot of dogs, and cats too for that matter, are getting cancer.

Interesting... I haven't heard of that around here. Perhaps pollution is at play? You did say you have coal power plants nearby. It sounds like with fish you have to get things JUST right. With a rodent, you just have to feed them twice a day, put fresh water in the water bottle twice a week or so, and clean the cage once a week, and they've fine.

Mineral oil machine will be making a comeback. Not today, not tomorrow either. But it will. And with a MUCH larger tank, a bit more fun involved, and maybe even some radiator coolness. But it can wait. Right now, the focus is on finishing up the green machine, and figuring out the main.

Green machine is getting prepped for part two. Think Asian mythological beasts! :D More later.

Hey Brian, I lost my first Shar Pei to cancer ( he was a little over 12 when I had him put down ) and I have one cat as did my sister that had cancer and had to be put down. In the case of my Shar Pei. I think it may have been a case of what I was putting down on the yard to deal with the weeds. I haven't been using that stuff since, but will need to look for something that is pet friendly if I do it again.

That was fun.
I like that stuff unless something like that was actually occurring inside your case.

Picked up a Dremel last night. Still practicing, and trying to figure out how to create the desired effect. This project is still running full force, will hopefully have updates soon! This has been a very interesting project.

What are trying to do with the dremel?

Can you get your hands on any mesh cheaply and finish the front bezel?

The front bezel has different plans, it will be taken care of. The Dremel is for the side panel without a window. Not that it is getting a window.
