What Laptop Is Right For Me i need help choosing a new laptop to buy

so. basically, i'm going to have between 4 and 5 hundred dollars, and i would like to spend it on a new laptop. i dont play any major games so i do not need a gaming laptop, but it would be good if it leaned closer to gaming. all i need to know, is what laptop is basic, but close to gaming. thats really it...

Do you have a size or brand preference? Looking for marathon batteries, or just the typical 2-3 hours? On a whim I would say the Lenovo Z575 would be the way to go. See if you can talk them into giving up the A6 in your price range. The A4 will do, but the A6 video card will be a tad bit faster. The AMD A6 and A8 processors will likely be your best value in a laptop. They will handle light gaming, and are fairly power friendly. The Z575 for example, hits about 5 hours (assuming you turn down the brightness, use power saver mode, etc). Expect about 3-4 hours surfing the internet, or if you kill wifi, you should be able to get to 5.5 or possibly even 6 hours reading.

I agree with you - I've thought about using an A4 or A6 to replace older family members' machines instead of i3s. You loose a bit of CPU, but gain quite a bit of GPU.

Yeah,just it.If we don't need more function,we just only buy one suitable for us.Don't need to wast more money.

I would recommend you to get the Acer Aspire AS5560-8480. It is extremely good for it's price and it looks like this one is what you need. It has Quad Core AMD-A8 processor, which has descent graphics for this price and good processing capabilities.
