Well, I just got my copy of Mass Effect 3 about 20 mins ago. Found Out I have to install origins to play the thing. If I had known that, I would have gotten the PS3 version. Oh well, guess I'll bite the bullet and see what is what with this thing.

Hey coastie,
I have to be good because I just bought Skyrim this weekend, but I'd be really interested in hearing what you think of Mass Effect 3 on the PC. You know, for future reference....

Hey Comp, Yeah I have Skyrim here as well. Been playing ( getting my butt kicked ) Dark Souls on the PS3. I think Mass Effect 3 may be the best one yet, in spite of that Origins crap although I haven't gotten that far into it as yet. I took a different tack on my commander. Got tired of the Macho types. :D

I've been following the reviews, and they're giving Mass Effect 3 really high marks.
Like your commander, by the way.

Hey Comp, She's bad news for sure. One thing though, with that Origins junk, I can't get the game to open from the desk top. I need to go into Programs and Open ME3 and then click on "Run as Administrator".

Ok. It does boot from desktop........now, but you have to sign in to play the thing at least the first time. I'll see what happens in a bit. Nope had to sign in, but I think it is once. If you leave the game and come back, you don't have to.
