Wrong. Anonymous is more than hackers and people using computers to crash websites. Anonymous is an idea whose time has come. You cannot arrest an idea.

A blow, implies damage. Nobody has shown that damage was done to Anonymous. Hopefully, it was at least an annoyance and thoroughly irritating.

What absolute pap. Anonymous is a group of cowards prancing about in their Guy Fawkes and hiding in the dark. Anonymous is not an idea and those who espouse that silliness haven't thought it through. Nothing Anonymous has done has affected any positive change. It's more like Cyber Theater with wannabes patting each other on the back.

It's my hope that all active Anonymous "members" and the knaves that follow them be cut off from the web for good. They are excellent candidates for The Darwin Awards http://www.darwinawards.com/

And, you cannot even come up with an original thought.

As for ideas, they live only so long as their believers live; and, believers are not immortal.

FUD impairs the ability to function. That's a damage in and of itself.

You can certainly arrest the perpetrator of a harmful idea and at least make him/her understand there is a price for his antisocial ideas.

it is my opinion that this will not hurt anon too much as these guys might not be the brightest ones in anon ... it will slow em down some and might break off more off shoots hacker groups but they ( anon not the off shoot LulzSec ) will stick be around but maybe just a little more careful aqnd not act up so much ( pull so many public stunts)

So, those who rise to positions of trust and authority in an organization, those who know enough about the organization and its members so as to become most useful sources of information to law enforcement, are the dumbest of the lot?

You didn't say "these 5 guys are not the top guys" but that they weren't very bright with respect to other member of the group.
