This has been a sporadical problem that I have experienced maybe twice a month. Everything is working great and system is optimized. This particular message will keep coming up and disrupts the ability to do anything in hotmail without having to refresh the browser continously or stopping and refreshing until it gets so annoying I just shut my computer down. It has no rhyme or reason for doing this and can work perfectly fine after a day.
This has been posted in the "Windows Live solution and support center", since 2009 and last night after I started experiencing it again, I found posts from hotmail users with this exact same issue posting for help every 20 seconds. The support center is made up of non-technical moderators hired by Microsoft and they can only respond with, "we are aware of this issue and are working on a answer to your problem". They also will ask all the general stuff like when did it start and blah.. blah.. blah... Another suggestion given by them is to clean cookies, maximize browser, etc.. with none of this helping anyone. Last night people were asked to download and run "Fiddler", which is a window for techs to see what's going on inside the affected systems. I downloaded it but was warned it came from a untrusted source so I chose to not run it. They have just given us nothing but the run around.
This is a issue with users of IE, firefox and others. I wanted to ask for help in this forum because I and many others are not getting any answers from hotmail or microsoft. Please, if anyone knows anything about this message ("We've updated Hotmail, so please refresh your browser or close it and sign in again. If you are composing a message, make sure you save it as a draft".), it would be so appreciated by myself and many others. A big thank you, in advance..
