This may not be the place to ask this question, but since it affects many aspects of the Internet, it also affect the PC World Community. How does one go about making contact with someone at Amazon.com or any other vender, if you do not have a complete e-mail address? I should say at this point that I am quite deaf and the telephone is not an option. I have been through Bing and other search engines and drawn a blank. Is there a way to get to Blogs to register a comment, again without an e-mail address?

If you were able to post that, you must have an email address, right? Can't you just create a free hotmail or gmail account and use that?

The home page of almost every website has a 'contact us' link. Usually at the bottom of the home page (but sometimes at the top, you just have to lookfor it). Those contacts can perhaps get you started towards finding who/what you want.

@TheOldTopkick

Specifically For AMAZON.COM:

A - Choose 'HELP' On The Top Right Corner,

B - Choose 'CONTACT US' On The Center Right.

You Do Not Need To Be A Registered User To Contact Them.

You have to provide an email though. (after all, how can they give you an answer without it?)

Thanks to all who responded. I have tried all the ideas suggested. The contact point gives only the the telephone (I'm still deaf) number or the URL. You can get the URL off the search engine. Without that e-mail address you get nowhere.

when you use the 'contact us' link you don't need their e-mail address, the form does the sending. for amazon.com, on first page click help, next page click orange 'contact us' button (right side at bottom of 'self-service' box), next page, sign in with your e-mail & password or click 'skip sign-in' button, you get a 'customer service' form to fill in your problem information. once filled in step 3 opens with the options of 'send e-mail/phone/chat'.
most other commercial sites function in a similar manner, if you use a 'contact us' link you don't need a direct e-mail address, the link forwards the message.

They usually offer a way to email them. At amazon, click help at the top, at the right 'contact us', skip sign in, and then tell them to contact you via email.
