Clicking on the junk button and deleting the domain works beyond my wildest dreams. In a weeks time I had just one new piece of junk mail and just one repeat. Formerly I was getting 20 to 30 pieces of junk mail a day. If you are using Windows 7, try it. Businesses who can't afford to miss a single potential customer will have a difficult time with this idea, but single users know from whom they receive mail. Once you decide an item is junk mail delete the domain. It works wonders.

You need to be careful with this. For example, if you have a friend who emails from '@yahoo.com', then you will lose that persons email if you block the domain '@yahoo.com'. It's better to block the individual address vice the entire domain.

Sorry, in the first post of this I did cover more details. I use Windows Live Mail. My ISP is Cox. It works on all sites as far as I know. Have fun.

Your friends message will still appear once in your list of junk mail and you can remove the junk mail status. Yes, you do need to carefully look at your diminished junk mail
