Help
I've been thinking about stopping in here for a while. Had a few ideas to share with the guys but this is bad. I didn't expect them to completely defect from Gamepro, even if it is another site. If anyone from GP (or PCW)knows where the new hang out is, let me know.

I think there's a hangout on facebook, from what I've heard. I haven't checked it out myself though.

Yeah, we're pretty much on Facebook.
No offense to PC World; some of us didn't want to register on a new site, some of us didn't care for the board format, and some of us didn't want any further drama, and Facebook was our first "rally point" after GP shut down.

I thought maybe Get's would've had a site up and running by now. I've seen the Facebook page and to be honest, it doesn't look much better than this place. At all. I would actually give the nod to this site just from first impression's of both places but if the guys are comfortable over there then so be it.
Social network and forum hang-outs are two different things to me. I just don't like the idea of integrating the two.
I still think it would better over here but I'm not going to sway anyone here. Bot let me know if anything happens with Get's. I'd appreciate it.

That's because the Gamepro forums was a moment in time that happens once in a lifetime... it was a freakin' weird place to hang and can't help thinking that the forums were one of the reasons the site tanked ( I still can't believe it) ... it was a lot of fun in the beginning but got to be a real drag at the end... you can feel the vibes from a good site and this sites forums are really sterile and dull. Great for Talking serious about electronics, but thats it. It's like hanging with someone that gets turned on from a really tricky math problem. .. you do it once and you pretty much get your fill for life.
