I ran across this in about mid December along with a lot of other stuff from her. She is really good and although this one is a Christmas thing, it really brings out her personality. I prowl around YouTube quite a bit and find some good stuff, but this has been the best find by far in my opinion.

I must say I'm impressed. Especially her rendition for Bruno Mars.

She was singing to a track in that one, but she plays Guitar and Piano. She is classically trained on the piano. She just keep getting better and better. She did one recently called Broken Stones and I was floored with the job she did. She did the videos as well as the vocals, Piano, the whole thing including the post production work of putting that video together. Simply amazing to say the least.

:D One of my discoveries over there, and probably one of the best. I have really been impressed with her work to be sure. There is another that I like called Hallelujah and is by far the best version I have heard of that. She played the piano, plus did ALL of the vocals ( lead and background ) & and post work with the tracks. It is strictly MP3 and no video though. Very easy to listen to. Her full name is Zuni Stevenson.

Ok. A week ago, I decided to try something and put together an album with 12 tracks of her stuff ( there is a lot more ). I will say this, she had previously blocked me from all of her sites, but it was deserved. I was reinstated to one YouTube channel two weeks ago. This morning, I got up and had a message from a friend saying that she had blocked him across the board. We had had a chat fest last night and she had apparently read it when she went to check the album. There really wasn't anything in there that I could tell, although he was spamming her on Twitter ( 10 messages ). The only thing I said was that I had messaged her on YouTube and that it would probably be ignored, and should have added for the time being. I also mentioned smething to that effect several times during the conversation. Well, when I checked, the one channel she had opened up, was blocked again. I suspect this time it is permanent in my case. Thought I'd put this up as I am thinking of destroying them and there would be a record of the album.

UPDATE: I found out from a friend that she told him that she was uneasy with my attentions. There were none. It was just something I wanted to try and thought she might get a kick out it. She could have at least approached me about it if she had concerns, instead I get blacklisted with not a word. No, I'm not mad either, just a bit disappointed and maybe a little hurt as I put a lot into that project.

I failed to mention that this was just an experiment and not a dedication to Zuni. Maybe a bit of a nod to her talent though.

I just heard her voice for the first time and I looked through some other renditions and I have to admit she is very talented- what a wonderful voice. I understand why you liked her.

Making that thing got me into all sorts of trouble with her and she blocked me from everything without a word. :P Her last upload, "Gravity" was better than the original in my opinion. She owned that song. That song seemed to be made for the solitary Piano as she did it. http://www.youtube.c...ture=plpp_video

UPDATE:
One thing I failed to mention. The Album you see pictured does not exsist. It was done as an exercise to see what I could do with my computer, printer, and a handful of apps. She turned out to be the subject due to the amount of materials that I had to work with. There were two made and they did exsist for about 3 or 4 days before they were destroyed. The exercise was successful, but caused some discomfort to one individual, so in the best interest of the feelings of that that individual, I decided to destroy them. I also destroyed ( deleted ) the folder with all the working materials in it. The only existing pictures of the Album is in this thread as far as I know. Would I do it again? Perhaps. I would make sure my intent is clearly known, but I can only write the posts, I can not make them read them, nor respond with any questions as to what I am doing, why I am doing it, or any other questions that they may have and that is where the problems arise. In short, I was happy with the results, but there was some unanticipated side effects that may have ended a friendship. That was regrettable. I have a good friend that got caught up in it as well, but hopefully she will relent and unblock him at some point ( he had nothing to do with this and just got over exhuberant when he saw the finished product ), at least I hope so. She is a good person with a good heart though, so who knows what may happen in time. :D As for me, I will forever remain blocked as I make her uneasy. I can understand and respect that as she doesn't know me and how I post. I am who I am and a bit different than what she is accustomed to. I do not take it personally as that is just the way things are, and I do like her and consider her a friend. She thought what I did was a personal thing and it made her very uneasy in that context. This was an understandable, but unfortunately misguided assumption and she probably should have confronted me with it, but I guess she was understandably looking to put some distance between us, which she did, without comment ( she did send a note to my friend though ). I don't feel any ill will and will still follow her progress, as I said, I still like her. Enough said on this.
