Ipad 3rd gen is junk! I've now had 4 total in 5 days. Every single one either had multiple dead pixels or debris trapped under the glass or both. Apple will replace for free, however. Just needs to within the warranty. Big hassle tho. Retina technology is not stable. looks great, but leaves your screen with holes...

add 2 more cons to your con list: overheating issues, storage limitations; no 128 or 256gb storage options.. would be nice to back up to a external storage device :)

The "new" iPad is absolutely the best tablet on the market today. Yet the author couldn't bring it to give it 5 stars because....well she does write for PC magazine and there's the whole Apple vs. PC thing...right?

Why has this got a comparison to older techs, if you want to put the new iPad up to something, put it against the TF700 Asus pad, the prime was released as one of the early tablets and has had 2 gens of pads replace it, much like the new iPad. the comparison on the javascript:void(0);site is like comparing a Ferrari to a Geo metro is speed and performance.
