I subscribed to this site when the focus was primarily PCs.
When the subject matter deals with this other stuff I delete the email and get on with my life.

While I'd be the first to agree that Americans can be very parochial, this is NOT an example of parochialism. It's a survey NOT of computer-users or global internet users but a survey of those who use the services of US mobile phone carriers. Why should it be a survey of all the world's mobile phone users? I don't get it. Also, PCWorld is a US magazine. Most magazines are specific to one country. Most surveys are limited to a specific area or population.
As for being hell-hole, that I guess is a matter of subjective opinion. As for being a "Godless", we're not but I wish we were. We are supposed to be (the U.S. constitution is supposed to clearly separate state from church) but we have a very powerful Christian Taliban who have, unfortunately, alot of influence on your country's policies (like support for the death penalty which many of them claim is a religious duty).

ah, last time I checked, PC stood for Personal Computers. Whats not personal or computing about mac's, iPad's, iPhones, or smartphones the like? They do almost everything a laptop or desktop would. They just dont have the screen real estate. But even then you can attach them to keyboards and monitors. I understand your point. But the future is-a-changing; like it or not. But that's an entirely different thread...
