My recent experience as an Amazon 3rd party seller. Amazon was a great opportunity to get a new product launched, with their huge customer base. I was sent an offer to create a store as a Marketprice seller in August. I created my store front, added my items (New board and card games) that were not yet being sold on Amazon. Then after a few months, when my sales were picking up to one a day or so, Amazon got a new policy and would only allow "Pre-Approved" sellers in the toy & game category after November 2nd. They generously offered to relist the items after Jan 22nd. So much for the Christmas shopping season. After investing in the storefront, creating the product pages, buying shipping supplies and inventory, I was out of business(along with a lot of other sellers), without much warning. There was no way to become "pre-approved". It was kind of a rude way to do business, and I wished I had never signed up with Amazon. I certainly did not go back in January, or will ever again. I think their more "senior " partners did not want the competition, from 3rd party toy & game sellers. I always enjoy the Consumer Watch feature in PCW, it's one of my favorite sections. Thanks for letting me vent, SandyB

Well, one can always find a real low price, but does one want to buy from that supplier over the internet?
I've heard so many horror stories about shoddy dealers that I don't give a rip about some flea-bitten discounter!
One has to protect one's interests in this wonderful laissez-faire world....

Amazon Discounts: http://deallocker.co...mazon-discount/ This is my favorite Amazon Shopping tool, well actually, just my favorite shopping tool period, because when I buy from amazon, I know the merchant will honor the discount and ship on time, or Amazon will terminate them.

I found dealing with Amazon a pleasant experience. It seems they want to look for ways to give you a better deal. Whatever I ordered it was shipped quick and packed well. I would rather buy from them than Ebay, where I encountered alot of nonsense. How many of us want things shipped in an envelope, when it needs a box?
