Google has already dealt with this issue - my reasoning is as follows:

- Ubuntu are teaming up with Google to delivery desktop computing from Samsung devices with Android as the main operating system, and Ubuntu as a kernel run-state when such devices are docked on suitable devices. With the efficiency of low-frequency, low-power processors, these are likely to replace desktop units entirely within five years.

- As you will see from Ubuntu's proposals (and already developed OS), it sits right on top of android, and integrates all of Google's services and arranges data in a great many various ways, but you will see from the demonstrations that Canonical's proposals are very succinct.

- So firstly, ChromeOS will be mostly defunct except for its current low-cost netbook uses. Android already has taken over this arena by its merger with Ubuntu. Secondly, there is no need for a way to manage files in bulk, because individuals services already offer this facility, though a filesystem type interface for Google's cloud storage platforms could forseeably be useful.

Only 1 GB free?! Damn, guess I'll have to stick with Windows Live Mesh for now. :/
