I have been using linux for over 19 years. Some limitations can be bypassed. There are some limitations that can not. Nvidia stops supports after time and does not updated their drives since it will cost them more than what they made. Hackers usually look into newer things and do not play around with older tech. There are some that do but not too many are out there. They who work with old tech are a disappearing more and more with the years. The younger once aer more interested in a quick fix and quick buck.

Wow. Just wow. You are going to tell me that it isn't worth their time on brand new $600 cards that won't be sold to people who need 3 (OR MORE) monitor support? SERIOUSLY. That is your answer to this.

Well, than let them spend $600 if they want to. I haved used cheaper cards that work for me with linux.

But what models were those cards? It is a FACT that you cannot run more than 2 displays on most nvidia geforce cards unless you use a second card, perhaps with sli. (the 590 can do it by itself, but that has sli internally) If you only have 2 clock generators for that, you only have 2 clock generators. And you need one per port. (displayport excluded) Basically, you're limited to 2. PERIOD.

Rather than answer the question, you evade. Good job.

In other words, you have no answer to why NVidia wouldn't support this feature on brand new, $600 cards when AMD support this on $100 cards. You would rather ignore the fact that AMD has a HUGE advantage over NVIDIA because it is convenient for you.

Don't give members BAD ADVICE when you don't know something. I know I would rather get NO REPLY than bad advice.
