"Li, however, also hoped multinational companies would pay more concern to their Chinese workers" --- Should they not pay more concern for their own workers before outside companies do? What are governments for? I'm also not an apple fan but there is more then apple using this company.

If they are so worried about their workers.. put some laws and regulations in place to protect them.

I have to shake my head, isn't it the government that sets the standards of health and safety for its citizens and for businesses that operate?
I know if you practice falun gong, they will show the power of the State. So do the same with multinationals.

What more proof do you require. The government if China has no intention of ever doing anything constructive for their workers.
