Unpredictable Cell Moves In Openoffice Calc

When I right-click on a cell in OpenOffice Calc 3.3 the cell is selected correctly but, when I click on an operation (delete, insert, etc.), the cell often changes. If I don't catch the switch, I end up performing the action on a different cell or group of cells. This never happened in 3.2 and seems to be getting worse...to the point where I am finding the program unusable. I tried reinstalling, but it did not help.
