No 7" tablet is a 'rival' for the iPad. A screen that small puts the device in a whole different catagory.

I will eventually get a tablet, and it may be an Android device to compliment my Android phone, but it won't be a 7" screen. I am not about to replace my aging 15.4 wide screen laptop, which I use primarily for web surfing and some streaming video, with a 7" tablet.

"aging dual-core processor", really? I mean the A5x is still dual-core processor ... the GPU is quad-core for graphics, but that isn't core processor. I guess the iPad 3 is "aging" too then right?

I owned the Nexus 1 and I have the Nexus S with 4G with Sprint and can testify that Google did a TREMENDOUS job on both phones. I've had thje Nexus S for a year and wouldn't part with it for the world.

No Matt, you misunderstood. They are not talking about a fail in the design or interface of the phone, The Nexus is Pretty amazing and comparable to the Iphone, also nicer IMO. well you see, Google's Experiment was to try to market this phone online to increase their sales. and you can go to their site www.google.com/nexus which I never new existed until I bought my Nexus. anyways they ended up not even nailing 1 sale from it. I never new that site existed until I saw the referral on my nexus box, probably why they failed to get sales from it.
