I just built a new desktop for myself and now I'm running into the problem of trying to find a way to connect it to the internet. My main internet connection is upstairs in my loft with the family computer and my new computer is downstairs and on the other side of the house. I really can't run an Ethernet cable through my entire house, so I decided I need to get a USB WiFi adapter. Now for my current setup I have an AT&T "2 Wire" modem and a D-Link D-615 router for my laptop. I know the 2 wire is a router as well, but that came after the D-Link. My question is what is a good USB WiFi adapter? I need one that gets good connection quality as well as being fast and consistent. Any suggestions on this matter would be greatly appreciated! :D

This looks like a good one, and ASUS is a good brand: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16833320040

I would have to agree with LiveBrianD. Any adapter with the 802.11 b/g/n will be good. The N is the newest and fastest wireless out there.
