I would get Chrome but Google's godfather is the CIA (a major startup funder) and they bend over to please them.

I think that the usage of FF among power users makes it probably the most popular browser. Since IE is the default browser with Windows, it figures that the less technically inclined user would default to that. Once you get FF set up and working right, for me personally there is not competition from IE or Chrome. I have an i7 processor and all of the browsers will be pretty fast. I just like the features that FF provides. I have been on the beta channel and am up to FF 12. Sometimes they disable things that I like like Google toolbar, but there is a work around for that and with Yahoo toolbar installed, it is tolerable though not desirable. Still, 20% of 1 billion users is 200 million, which is not too shabby. For me the most important factor in a browser is Utility, and FF meets that just fine.

StatCounter's inflation of Chrome usage by counting pre-loaded pages is inexplicable.

Google Chrome still loads the fastest. IE9 attempts to force the Bing search engine while researching. FireFox still crashes too often for my liking. Opera is crap..

And, yet, most do not use Chrome. So, what's your point?

Right Now, I Have Only One Major Site That Has Issues With CHROME, Or Vice Versa.
I Use FF3628 For That Site.

Since I Discovered The Extension 'Minimum Font', The Issue With PCW Forums Fonts Is Resolved And, Once Again, I Increased CHROME Usage At The Expense Of FF.

Since I Addopted CHROME, 12 Months Ago, FF Went From 99% To About 5%, In My Browser Usage.

And the fact the Chrome does not provide a user controllable function that other browsers have long had is a selling point?

Just how many Chrome users are going to going to be willing and able to locate and install a fix for such? Why should they need to in the first place?
