Type in the product key.
Read the article again.

I also tried to install all 3 preview versions without success. Each hung shortly after the install process began. I have a 64bit PC with Win. 7. At the time, I have VirtualBox installed and it is the 32bit version as the warning note when I downloaded VB stated the 64bit version would not run on Windows 7. I believe I was using VB 4.12 at the time, don't recall. Now I am using 4.18. I will check to see if the 64 bit version will run on Win. 7 and, if so, give it a try.

Went back to check and according to the Oracle site, VB 4.18 supports both 32 and 64 bit H/W. So I am at a loss why it hangs. I allocated 30GB for the VM and 2GB for RAM.
It requested and accepted the product key provided at the MS download sites and starts installing and then hangs - left it on one night all night and the next day it was still hung up.
