I will never buy anything that requires a constant internet connection or anything that limits my use of games or apps....

Yeah......it would only be a matter of time until people came up with the next "JTAG" method to allow offline play. Let's face it; not everyone can be connected 24/7.

Could someone make up their mind, PLEASE?!

"There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'" -- Isaac Asimov

By locking out second hand games, isn't that monopolisation? Above that, it'll but thousands of people out of work. These big companies don't realise that they do in fact rely on shops selling pre-owned games as it is a big business employing thousands upon thousands of people. In the UK alone, more than 3000 people lost jobs because the Game company went bankrupt. Think about that all over the world. It would be in the tens of thousands, possibly even hundreds of thousands. With current circumstances, getting a job is next to impossible. Microsoft and Sony will lose more by locking second hand games than gain. Instead of locking the games, they could tax stores selling the games by 5% per game, maybe. Possibly give an access code costing around $3. I can just promise, it'd be pure retadation to lock pre-owned games.

wow that's complete bullshit. Talk about being played for foolishly buying.. Xbox has slowly dug into it's consumers skin for years now but this? really? Go figure Microsoft would support this type of management.
