It would take your attention away from your surroundings while crossing the street and/or doing dangerous activites.

Less so than looking at your phone or another device.

Anybody remember the frivolous lawsuit brought against Google because some dummy walked out into the middle of a road and got hit by a car while using GoogleMaps on their phone -- because that's what the directions indicated? I can just see the idiots lining up to buy these glasses, ready to press charges because they did something retarded while paying attention to what's going on in the glasses and not in the real world. Maybe Google needs a disclaimer for these: "Not responsible for you being a complete retard while using this product."

Less weird than anybody with long hair using a Bluetooth headset.

it would be awesome if these could be adjusted for prescription or even could have a function that could darken them as sunglasses

If they could somehow incorporate a web browser with a usable version of google - maybe through cloud technology - then I could see these things becoming a hit. Also like the aforementioned prescription lens idea.

Why would you wear them when performing dangerous activities? or did you mean that it will make everyday walking a dangerous activity? if so then the amazing thing about the technology of "glasses" is that you can take them off at a time of your choosing :)

THIS IS THE FUTURE!

This in a contact lens is the future or just directly connected to the optic nerve.

I dont know why but i feel this wont take off that much. Gadgets like these will have far less takers than stuff like smartphones or even tablets.

This is just my personal opinion!
