It would take your attention away from your surroundings while crossing the street and/or doing dangerous activites.

I think you meant to say, "It would take your attention away less from your surroundings ... than current day technology, where people ignore their surroundings and stare down at a screen."

I dont know why but i feel this wont take off that much. Gadgets like these will have far less takers than stuff like smartphones or even tablets.

This is just my personal opinion!

They will not only connect with smartphones and tablets, but they will enhance the experience as well.

Improvement? People are walking into poles, stepping out into traffic, and crashing cars because they are looking DOWN at their phones while texting and browsing. So I guess this might be an improvement, in that at least they'll LOOK like their paying attention because they will be looking straight ahead when they walk into that pole, etc.

Are they specific to Google? Or are other companies going to be allowed to implement this in their eye wear?

It'd be neat of Gunnars were able to put this in their line. I currently have their "Rockets" and having that would be pretty neat.

Wow I need to get it when it comes out just an idea for it.
Make it able to play Youtube videos so lets say you'er on the bus and you don't want any one watching the videos then you'll be able to watch it without any freaks staring at you mobile devise.

I thought it was funny that a google ad appeard at the bottom of the video demo. I know it was a youtube thing but I thought it was perhaps a sign of things to come. Imagine - gettting Google ads right in front of your eyes for your entire waking day. I can't wait. :)
